FCC Bylaws Revision Task Force Report

The FCC Bylaws Revision Task Force (“Bylaws Task Force”) was formed in fall 2008 to review the Church bylaws and present proposed revised bylaws to the Congregation at the Annual Meeting on January 25^th, 2009.  Certain sections of the FCC bylaws were suspended at a Special Meeting in June 2006 to enable the Congregation to implement the cluster structure.  The Bylaws Task Force meets regularly to develop a draft of the bylaws that incorporates the cluster structure and reflects our current practices.  Before the Annual Meeting, the proposed revised bylaws will be available for review by the Congregation.  The Bylaws Task Force will meet with the Church Council in January to discuss the proposed revised bylaws and will address any comments or questions from the Congregation about the bylaws.  The Bylaws Task Force is on schedule to present the proposed revised bylaws to the Congregation for approval at the Annual Meeting on January 25^th, 2009.  The members of the Task Force are Carolyn Behr, Judy Blackmer, Deborah Currie (Chair), Marilyn Faulkner, Bruce Grinnell and Carl Westerdahl.
