From the Deacons

During June the Deacons helped with the memorial services of Annette Triquere and Curt Tong. Both services were generously attended.

Pastor Mark preached two sermons inspired by the Nick Cave MassMoCA exhibit, Until, in June. In July he’ll be using the Lex and Love exhibit of Meleko Mokgosi, at the Williams College Museum of Art, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival production of The Clean House as the base for worship services. These services are entitled Art and Soul and are a continuation of last year’s series relating the arts and worship.

On July 2nd, Rev. Rick Chrisman, former Chaplain at Skidmore College will preach while Mark attends the Synod of UCC as the representative from the Berkshire Association. Rick served as a supply minister after Rev. Carrie Bail left our congregation, and has been the former pastor in several churches.

Our Church will be busy with several community activities this summer. We continue to be open and welcoming to a variety of functions. Having the use of our beautiful new Community Hall and the anticipation of the renewal of the kitchen makes this possible.

Have a safe and happy July.
