Sunday School Notes,

9/22/2017

T

his is the last Sunday of our Communion Stories Unit. Students in Jason Velazquez’s Sunday School class will bake bread this Sunday. Please meet in the kitchen at 10:00 to get an early start.

We have a new nursery room teacher, Caitlin DeBrie who will be starting this Sunday. Caitlin and Austen will share the lead nursery teacher job; each will work two Sunday mornings, and then have two Sunday mornings off. Caitlin owns Footprints Family Child Care in Adams, and is looking forward to meeting our youngest churchgoers and their parents.

The following Sunday, October 1, Sunday school students will stay in the sanctuary for the Blessing of the Animals. Children love this worship service. Don’t forget to bring a pet, photo, stuffed animal, or a friend’s pet (and bring the friend too). No Sunday School classes but the nursery will be open.

Save the Date: Field Trip to Mass MoCA, 10:00 – 11:30 Sunday October 22

We will explore “Cavernous, The Inner Life of Courage” by Wes Sam-Bruce.  This is our third annual trip to Kidspace to participate in Art4Change.
