The annual church fundraiser, the ‘Famous Tag Sale’ is fast approaching on September 10th. We will start bringing things into Community Hall on weekend of August 20th and begin the work of cleaning and organizing August 22nd. As always we need lots of help with these tasks and truly appreciate all of the help which has been given in past years. We look forward to another successful tag sale event and hope that everyone will be able to join us during the weeks leading up to September 10th and on this day as well. It is a wonderful social opportunity to gather with other folks while working and gives all an opportunity to see what we will be selling, in the event early shopping is wished. We have opportunities for different jobs, from washing and drying items for sale, organizing the tables, pricing all of the items, organizing signage and handout materials for the day of the sale, helping to move items around the room to maximize their appeal.
We appreciate all of your help, whether you have only a few hours or days. We work usually during the day but are willing to work evenings if that time is better for some. You are welcome to drop in or can email us/call us about times/days. We look forward to your help as this is a wonderful opportunity to give to our church, financially and providing service to others. Last year we raised over $21,000. and hope that this year will be as successful. In addition, students and local folks who need to find bargains rely on this annual sale. Thanks so much for caring!
