Contra Dance
Contra dancing is a social, high-energy American folk dance where couples dance in two long, parallel lines, featuring live music, a, caller, and a, welcoming, beginner-friendly atmosphere.
Welcome the spring season at a friendly contra dance! North Berkshire Community Dance will hold its monthly contra dance on Saturday, April 11th. The caller, Hannah Johlas, will teach every dance to live traditional fiddle music from The Vintons.
The dance will run 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. in the Community Hall of the First Congregational Church, 906 Main St., Williamstown. Admission is pay-as-you-can, $12 – $20 suggested, and barter (especially help with cleanup) is also welcome.
Everyone is welcome. New dancers and families with children are encouraged to arrive at 7:15 for an introductory lesson. Come with or without a partner; most people change partners for each dance throughout the evening.
Empty Bowls Fundraiser Dinner
Please join the students of Tim Duncan Pottery for an Empty Bowls Dinner to benefit the Williamstown Food Pantry. Choose a handmade bowl to take home, stay for soup, bread and live music!
Seatings at 5 PM and 6:30 PM
Tickets are $35 cash or Venmo and can be purchased at the door!
Outdoor Easter Sunrise Worship Service
A short outdoor service at the Costley residence with music and birdsong will be followed by a light breakfast and warm beverages. (Please bring something to share).
Maundy Thursday Service of Tenebrae
Maundy Thursday Service of Tenebrae A quiet and reflective worship service, Maundy Thursday is the celebration of "the first Last Supper." The traditional name Tenebrae means "shadows," and this candlelight service takes place as the sun sets, casting long shadows while we share scripture readings and hymns telling the story of the final days leading up to Jesus's crucifixion. Communion will be served, and the table is open to all.

March 14th: Williamstown. Maggie McRae will call, using gender neutral role terms. Music by an enthusiastic open band (including you?) led by Rebecca Weiss and Seamus Connor.
Mardi Gras Gumbo Luncheon
Please join us for a Mardi Gras Gumbo Luncheon in Community Hall following worship on Sunday, February 15! Enjoy fellowship and community with favorites such as Vegetarian & Regular Gumbo, Corn Bread, King Cake, Salad and most of all FUN!
