Rev. Joseph “Joe” Medlin
Bridge Minister

The Reverend Joseph “Joe” F. Medlin, M.Div., serves as our Bridge Pastor, bringing experience in pastoral leadership, chaplaincy, and compassionate care. After graduating from seminary in North Carolina, he began serving in youth ministry before leading a congregation in New York City for nearly a decade. During that time, he also completed advanced study and clinical training in psychoanalysis through the Blanton-Peale Institute & Counseling Center, an experience that continues to shape his approach to ministry and pastoral care. He later served two congregations in Hawaii and, after returning to the East Coast to help care for aging family members, served churches in Virginia and New Jersey. Today, Rev. Joe supplements his ministry through local hospital chaplaincy.
He and his wife, Crystal, a Clinical Behavior Analyst, are parents to Solomon, who enjoys college football, baseball, the Savannah Bananas, and math, and Kingston, who loves Spider-Man LEGOs, fire trucks, dancing, and chill-pop music.
The Medlin family is grateful to call the Berkshires home and is honored to walk alongside our congregation during this season of transition. Together, they look forward to building meaningful relationships, supporting the church's ongoing ministry, and helping to discern God's vision for the future as the congregation prepares for its next chapter.
