FCCW Grant Opportunity

FCCW runs an annual grant program for local Berkshire
County causes. These funds are contributed from gifts
and pledged income donated by the Church congregation.
Our FCCW Outreach Team invites you to learn more about
the types of grants we provide and consider applying
for support.

Purpose
The overarching goal of our Outreach Team is to share
our time, funds and energy with non-profits most in need.
Our focus is on those serving Northern Berkshire County.
The non-profits we support have a mission to welcome,
empower, encourage, and strengthen those among us
who are needful. When considering proposals,
we are seeking those non-profits that:

+ Support “Not in Our County” values
+ Seek to heal, welcome, and bring together
+ Build relationships between the community and our congregation.

The Outreach team encourages all of our grant seekers
to suggest ways we could partner with them, and encourage
FCCW congregants to volunteer.

Funding areas
FCCW will prioritize non-profit agencies that serve
basic human needs such as: anti-racism, food insecurity,
health care, housing, mental health, transportation,
social justice, and access to employment. Populations
we have served include immigrants/refugees, victims of
domestic violence, teens, seniors, and those most
affected, by the pandemic.

Range and Types of Grants
General purpose: Up to $10,000 can be requested
for general support (e.g. operations)
Special Impact Grants: Up to $5,000 can be requested
for more specific funding for projects or purposes

Timeline and Deadlines
Grant proposals should be received by April 1 or November 1,
annually. The Outreach committee will consider all grants
twice a year, and notify the grant seekers of our decision
within 2 weeks. Once approved, checks will be mailed within
4 weeks.
